Tax Manager
Position Requirements:
- CPA certification
- 5-8+ years current tax experience within a public accounting environment
- Masters in Taxation +/or Professional Accounting Preferred
- Degree in Accounting
- Preparation of complex income tax returns
(S-corps, C-corps, Partnerships, Trusts, Multi-state & complex individuals)
- Reviewing income tax returns
- Income Tax Research
- Interacting closely with clients
Ideal applicant is a proactive, self-starter possessing a strong work ethic and desires to
advance professionally. Individual should have the ability to supervise staff and manage
clients, as well as the ability to work with minimum supervision, meet deadlines and
adjust to multiple work demands. Continued training along with the opportunity for
professional development is provided and encouraged.
Qualified Individual must possess at least 4 years of current public practice experience
including Corporate and Individual Income Tax Preparation, Tax Research and strong
focus on Tax Planning as well as Financial Statement preparation experience; diverse tax
notice resolution experience and excellent communications skills. Applicant should also
have strong working knowledge of payroll, sales tax and property tax return preparation.
Advanced computer skills are required. Experience preferred in Lacerte Tax Software,
CCH Online Research, QuickBooks (strong working knowledge), CPASoftware and
Microsoft Office Suite
