S.J. Gorowitz Accounting & Tax Services (SJG) sponsored this year’s Race to Rally Hope on Saturday, April 28, in downtown Alpharetta. The event benefits Kiddos’ Clubhouse Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides scholarships to families to help pay for therapeutic services and equipment for children with special needs. SJG is honored to be a two-year sponsor of this very special event.
“We are thrilled to support Kiddos’ Clubhouse Foundation and participate in this wonderful event,” said Stacey Gorowitz, CPA and CEO of SJG. “We have seen firsthand the positive impact this can make, especially at a young age, and we applaud Brett and Nell DeVore for all their hard work making a difference for so many families.”
Kiddos’ Clubhouse Foundation was established in 2007 by occupational therapists Brett and Nell DeVore. The DeVores aimed to assist Georgia families who could not afford the associated costs of therapy services and equipment for their children with special needs. Despite government benefits and insurance coverage, many families still lack the financial means to provide treatment and necessary equipment for their children, diminishing hope for their children’s future.
This year’s event was the foundation’s biggest yet with more than 500 participants raising over $80,000 for the Kiddos’ Clubhouse Foundation Scholarship Fund.
